Hubs & route places: smarter data, better admin tools

What's new

  • Improved hub management — Adding or editing a hub now works through a unified places model under the hood, making name and address data more consistent across the platform. The address field is automatically locked when a hub is already linked to a known place, preventing accidental mismatches.
  • Route import improvements — Route files now import more reliably: quoted cells, empty cells, and hyphenated file numbers (e.g. 29-8) all parse correctly. A location that appears under multiple postcodes is correctly recognised as one place rather than creating duplicates. Renamed places keep their previous names as searchable aliases.
  • Clearer import error reporting — If a route data source returns an error, has an authentication problem, or contains no records, the import is now correctly marked as failed rather than appearing successful.
  • Column picker usability — The column selector in table views now scrolls properly on smaller screens and includes a search box, making it easier to find and toggle specific columns.
  • Filterable route imports view — Every column in the Imports → Routes table can now be filtered, making it faster to find specific routes or spot issues.

What's coming next

  • A review interface for flagged route locations, so your team can confirm or correct address matches directly in the admin panel.
  • Coordinates on address records, which will help resolve hubs that are currently missing location data.
