Route Import Wizard — Now on Staging

What's new

  • Bulk route import via CSV — You can now upload a CSV file to import multiple transport routes at once. The wizard walks you through file drop, column mapping, and review before committing — no more adding routes one by one.
  • Automatic distance calculation — During CSV import, driving distances between hubs are calculated automatically using map data. Routes with missing or unresolvable distances are flagged so you can review them before saving.
  • Smarter hub matching — The import wizard now matches hubs using address-first lookup with city as a fallback, significantly reducing manual corrections needed after import.
  • GLEC-aligned hub types — Hubs can now be categorized using standardized GLEC logistics location types, with the ability to set custom per-account aliases. The hub type field is available both when adding a single hub and during bulk import.

What's coming next

  • Completing the remaining steps of the full multi-route import flow: vehicle type assignment, location resolution review, and file column mapping.
  • Importing planned distances and vehicle types directly from CSV data.
  • Default handling for empty running when not specified in the file.
