Route Import Wizard — Smarter Hub Matching & Faster Re-uploads

We've made significant improvements to the CSV route import experience, making it faster to upload transport schedules and more reliable at matching your existing hubs.

What's new

  • Automatic distance calculation — imported routes now have their planned distances calculated automatically using map data, so you don't need to fill that in manually
  • Much better hub matching — the wizard now searches by address first, with name and city as a fallback, dramatically improving match rates (fixes a case where no matches were returned)
  • Create hubs on the fly — if a hub from your CSV doesn't exist yet, you can create it directly from the hub search without leaving the import flow
  • Hub aliases remembered — once you've matched a hub name from your CSV to a hub in the system, that mapping is saved. Next time you upload a file with the same names, you can skip straight through without re-confirming
  • Full street address in hub cards — hub cards in the matching step now show the complete address including street number
  • Hub type classification — hubs can now be categorized using GLEC logistics hub types, with support for per-account custom labels
  • Refreshed import wizard design — updated visual design for the file drop step, tab layout, and hub matching cards for a cleaner, more consistent experience

What's coming next

  • Ensuring all imported routes carry over vehicle type and distance information correctly
  • Support for specifying empty running defaults in the CSV
