Release notes — week of 25 Sep – 2 Oct 2026
Headline
Faster page loads, smarter health checks, and a wave of UI consistency improvements are on their way to production.
What's new
-
Noticeably faster page loads — we found and eliminated redundant authentication calls that were firing multiple times per page. Pages that previously took up to several seconds to load should feel significantly snappier.
-
Hub filter options now work correctly — the hub filter dropdown was silently failing on every use due to a stale database reference. It's fixed and filtering is reliable again.
-
Cleaner, more consistent admin UI — a large batch of admin and transport pages have been aligned to the shared design system: status badges, KPI strips, expandable table rows, role badges, and detail panels now look and behave consistently across the product.
-
Stale health-check alerts cleared — five health checks tied to an old emissions dashboard were permanently showing as failures. They've been disabled so the health overview only surfaces real issues.
-
Health-check self-monitoring fixed — a cron-job failure counter was tripping on its own record, causing a permanent false alarm in the performance dashboard. It now reports accurately.
What's coming next
- Further page-load improvements targeting a Supabase authentication bottleneck that in worst cases adds 1–12 seconds to requests — a fix is actively in progress.
- Routes detail panel improvements: version history, activity feed, and richer stop information.
