Vehicles Management & Map Improvements

What's new

  • Redesigned vehicle panel — Adding, viewing, and editing a vehicle now happens in a sleek side panel with tabs, replacing the old dialog. The map opens automatically alongside it so you always have spatial context.
  • Richer vehicle table — The vehicles list now displays fuel type badges, CO₂ emissions, and fuel consumption at a glance.
  • Bulk vehicle import — You can now import large batches of vehicles (up to 2,000 at a time) with full job tracking, so you can see exactly what was imported and when.
  • Smarter vehicle lookups — Single and bulk registration-number lookups are faster and more reliable thanks to a rebuilt lookup service.
  • Duplicate vehicle warning — Trying to add a vehicle that's already registered now shows a clear, friendly error instead of a silent failure.
  • Hub management improvements — The admin imports card has been redesigned and a new hub types management page is available.
  • Transport map: smoother selection — Clicking a row in the list and seeing it highlighted on the map (and vice versa) is now consistent across the routes, vehicles, customers, and hubs views.
  • Transport map: accurate hub dots — Hub dots now reflect only the routes visible under the current filter, and lines that reach beyond a known hub show a subtle indicator instead of just dangling.
  • Transport map: no more unexpected jumps — The map no longer reloads or moves the camera unexpectedly when you click rows in split-view, and the view resets cleanly when you deselect a hub.
  • Transport map: cleaner popups — Info popups no longer push the page sideways, and hover tooltips clear properly when you make a selection.

What's coming next

  • Connecting the Add Vehicle form directly to live registration lookups so vehicle details fill in automatically.
  • Further transport map selection reliability improvements.
